The Sainsburys Beer Festival 2009 doesn't exist in Northern Ireland. None of the stores here received any stock, despite being sent over all the signage and promotional paraphernalia. Of course, you wouldn't know this by looking at their website as they neglected to put a "Not available in Northern Ireland" flag with the relevant beer entries. I've been trying to find out why but while the customer careline knows there is a reason they don't know what it is, and will have to get back to me, probably some time next week.

I finally found a Sainsburys with these in today. I wanted to fill a trolley with Hardcore and Chaos Theory but I've got so much beer that I just won't get around to drinking them before they lose all their freshness (and I think need need to be drunk as fresh as possible!). Grabbed a couple of the Williams, the Moild and a Shropshire Lass. I might pop back and grab one each of the others if I get on with the drinking!

Heh. Know exactly what you mean. If my beer cupboard wasn't groaning under the weight of BrewDogs already (with another 18 bottles waiting for me to pick up at the post office today) I'd have filled a trolley or two myself :)

Loved the Williams 80/-, wasn't expecting it to be the best of their stuff on offer but it was a real blindsider. Must try the Allgates, but every time I go into Sainsburys I end up with another 12 bottles of Hardcore ;-)
