I know that a few breweries make or have made beers with this name. Palmer's of Dorset make a Tally Ho! strong ale, too.

Hi Donna - All I know is what I said in the post, really - Adnams have been brewing Tally-Ho for decades. Never heard of S.S. Pierce Co. but there used to be hundreds more breweries than there are today, so it's probably one that went out of business a fair while ago.

How long has this beer been around?? I have a nice antique glass bottle with raised lettering saying "Tally-Ho" and underneath "S.S. Pierce Co. The bottle is a tinged purple color and is very old seeded heavy glass. A little scratched due to age, really solid material, no chips. Very smoothly curved shape with an interesting indented base. Do you think there is any relation to this brand? I have pictures and may be posting it on ebay soon. Please contact me with any info or if interested. Thanks, Donna
