Adnams developed Lighthouse Pale Ale from the recipe used for their award-winning Champion Pale Ale. I’ve never tasted that one so can’t compare. True to Adnams form there’s no mention of Lighthouse on their main website, you have to go to their shop to find it.

While classified as a pale ale, Lighthouse is amber in colour with a copper glow and gives off a light fruity, slightly bready, aroma. Flavour is of light biscuity malt with some caramel at the start, giving way to a grassy hop finish. As the low strength would indicate it’s very easy drinking, a bit on the thin and unexciting side, but it would work as a decent enough thirst quencher at the start of a session. But only very occasionally.
